But I'm talkin' about Craft (Then we can dig it)

Who: Graham, Heather, and Laura

What: Laura came over to frame a picture for Luke's birthday. It was a sweet print of St. Michael driving Satan out of heaven that she picked up at the ren faire this past July. A few weeks ago we went to Michael's picked out a frame, and backing board, and glass and stuff. Graham was called in to cut the print down to size for the frame. The frame was 16x20 and the image fit inside it quite well but there was too much extra paper. The other problem we ran into was the frame not having those little metal doohickeys that hold the backing in. So Laura borrowed Jae's drill (that's what you get for not coming over, Sucker!) and is going to pick them up at the hardware store later this week.

Graham did more painting on his "Dark Elf Riding Horse" Warhammer miniature. Last week I told you he used yellow, but it was actually gold. He had a little trouble with the washes he used over the gold and silver trim, but was able to correct that this week. The cats tried really hard to drink his paint water.

I tightened the elastic on the zills I purchased at Pennsic. They are copper to match the tray I attempt to balance on my head every week in class. There was a lot of pocking my fingers with the needle. Then I uploaded some photos to Facebook.

Füd Ordered: One small cheese pizza, sixteen chicken wings.

Füd Recieved: One small cheese pizza, ten chicken wings. But the pizza place gave us back $4 to make up for running out of wings.

T.V.: Project Runway, natch! I think this will be a regular staple of craft night viewing. Then we watched "Baby Cakes - The Role Play Tournament", a long time favorite that Laura had never seen. After Laura left Graham and I watched, like, 30 episodes of the "Gilmore Girls".

Breaks Taken: We stopped doing stuff to really focus on Baby Cakes. At one point Graham and I stopped to play a game of Cock Blokus. He won, but I am pretty sure he cheated.

Excuses: Apologies for the lack of photos again, my camera suffered and unfortunate roller skating accident and will need to be fixed or replaced.
